Long Term Athelete Development (LTAD)

In 2009 the Canadian Lacrosse Association undertook an initiative to further Lacrosse development. The results of these efforts is the Long Term Athelete Development model (LTAD). The GELC and subsequently the Warriors have chosen to adopt this model and incorporate it into our programs. Details of the LTAD are available on the CLA website which can be found here. Note that at the Tyke level, the GELC has adopted option A and option X for Mini-Tyke.
